One of the nation’s top public accounting firms, Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG), held its annual Count the Cans food drive in June with its employees and partners donating money, canned goods and volunteer hours to relief organizations in 13 states. During their 10-day campaign, DHG donated 773,741 pounds of food and has donated a total of 4,569,555 pounds of food over the past six years through Count the Cans.

Dixon Hughes Goodman hosts this annual food drive during summer months to help foodbanks and hunger relief organizations stock their shelves while children are out of school and without school meals.

“Supporting families and individuals in need starts with our passion to serve. We look forward to Count the Cans each year as we strive to make an impact for our local foodbanks,” said market managing partner Caron Crouse.
